Pine Lodge is your perfect Black Hills getaway—2 mins from Custer State Park and steps from the Mickelson Trail. Completely renovated in 2025, it features a 4-bedroom cabin with full kitchen and 2 full bathrooms, plus a bunkhouse with 4 queen beds, kitchenette, and full bathroom. Enjoy scenic views, a wraparound deck, hot tub, and indoor/outdoor dining. Built in 1935, our lodge has been in the family since 1941—and we’re excited to share it with you!

Other Details to Note

Comfort: All main living areas are equipped with air conditioning for your comfort. Please note that the two upstairs bedrooms in the cabin do not have AC units. However, the windows can be opened to enjoy the fresh mountain breeze, and temperatures typically drop significantly at night, making for cool and comfortable sleeping conditions. Every room in the cabin is equipped with heat to keep you warm and cozy during cooler weather. Extras: We offer an RV electrical hookup for an additional fee. Early check-in is also available for an added charge, with at least 24 hours’ notice required to accommodate your request. Please note: For groups greater than 12, a signed rental agreement and refundable deposit are required prior to check-in. This helps ensure the home is well cared for so all guests can enjoy it.

Megan’s place was perfect for our family getaway in the Black Hills! Loved all the thoughtful touches and games/toys for the kiddos. Kitchen and living spaces were immaculate and exactly as advertised and what we needed for our stay. Outdoor spaces were great—we loved relaxing in the back patio space and hot tub after our busy days of hiking and sightseeing nearby. The bunk house was resume nbd

We enjoyed our stay at Pine Lodge very much. We had 11 in our family and enjoyed how comfortable the home and bunk house were. Everyone had their own beds, and the bunk house was perfect for our kids and their spouses. We especially enjoyed the family room which allowed all of us to sit together and spend family time. The large dining room table was a hit for playing games. The kitchen was well outfitted and a beautiful space with a dishwasher and up-to-date appliances. The hot tub was a very nice way to relax after a long day. We've been to the Black Hills many times and loved the location for getting to the various sites we wanted to visit. Megan was an amazing host and very responsive. I could tell that she truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. I highly recommend Pine Lodge and thank Megan for an incredible stay. I'm confident others who stay there will have a similar fantastic experience.

This place exceeded our expectations! While the listing's photographs were true to life, the actual space felt even more inviting and comfortable. As a group of collegiate cross country runners visiting for training camp and team bonding, we found this rental to be perfectly suited to our needs. The location is ideal for running, biking, and sightseeing! The hosts were super responsive, answering any questions or concerns within minutes!

One of the best rentals we’ve stayed at in the Black Hills. Great location! We loved all the board games and puzzles provided. Great kitchen appliances and huge dining room table. We definitely plan on visiting again!

Staying here was a perfect place from which to explore the Black Hills area. There are many things to do and see close by! The home is beautiful, and well furnished for our group. We appreciated multiple seating and dining spots for a big group. We also loved that each family unit in our three generation group had a spacious place of beds and a bath to themselves. Our host was great at communicating and helpful with questions.
